about

the guardian was inspired by a photograph by shawn brackbill. it was previously released on a compilation called these pictures of you and originally mastered by lars meijer. the arms of orion features p.k. horsepower who recorded his vocals. it also features a modem sound stolen from the internet and it was inspired by the constellation known as orion not the artist once known as prince. karlakarl was inspired by a jigsaw puzzle and the island of vis. spring come slowly was derived from pedro the lion’s the longest winter. stallion boys was inspired by a novel by tiffany murray and features her lyrics. there is nothing to report about the last song.

above credits notwithstanding, all songs written and recorded by motel aurora on a boss br-600 and several instruments 2009-2011.
